Neon Logistics is proud to announce the promotion of Christian Smith to Manager, Strategic Account Sales, clearing the Senior Sales Executive promotion requirements along the way in the very same month, a rare double promotion not often seen. Christian moved into a sales role in July 2025, coming from a background in carrier sales, and in under a year he's climbed two levels on our sales ladder.

Christian earned into both promotions by hitting company sales metrics across a three-month period, clearing the bar for each tier every month along the way and capping it off with a career-high month in June.

"Christian's biggest strength is that he's built a repeatable sales process," said Clay Forshey, Vice President of Sales. "He's not chasing one-off wins, he's running the same approach deal after deal and refining it over time. His background in carrier sales gives him a read on this business that most reps take years to develop, and it's exactly why he's been able to climb two levels in the time it takes most people to climb one."
